Mobile App Guide

The mobile app is optimized for on-the-go control: urgent approvals, kill-switch actions, dashboard monitoring, notification preferences, and switching between cloud and self-hosted profiles.

Current status#

Current status
Mobile is intentionally narrower than Web today. It covers the core control loop, but it is not yet the full administration surface for agents, analytics, templates, or system configuration.

Entry and Login#

The app currently supports two entry paths: ClawButler Cloud login and manual connection to a self-hosted instance.

Cloud login

  1. Open the welcome screen and choose `Cloud Login`.
  2. Sign in with your cloud email and password.
  3. After login, the app lands on the Dashboard screen.

Self-hosted connection

  1. Choose `Connect Self-hosted Instance` from the welcome screen.
  2. Enter the server URL, run the handshake, and review the infrastructure summary.
  3. Authenticate with either password or API token, then enter the main app.

Core Workflows#

Review urgent approvals

  1. Use the Dashboard urgent approval card to jump straight into the approval detail page.
  2. Switch between Pending / Approved / Rejected / All in the approvals list.
  3. Make the final decision in the detail page, then return to the dashboard or list.

Trigger or recover a kill switch

  1. Open `Kill Switch` from the dashboard quick actions.
  2. Enter an optional reason, then confirm the operation twice before execution.
  3. If the device is offline, the app queues the action and retries later.

Manage notification behavior and profiles

  1. Use `Notification Settings` to toggle channels, quiet hours, and cooldown.
  2. Open `Profiles` to switch between cloud and self-hosted environments.
  3. Long-press a non-active profile to remove it and clear stored credentials.
